I came to Plymouth to study photography at Plymouth collage of art and design, after taking my A levels and I have never managed to leave. Plymouth is so beautifully situated between the sea and the moors, ideal for any photographer. I started Moment in Time photography when my daughters started school and now run the business from the studio, which is set in a pretty terrace of shops on the borders of Peverell and Mannamead in Plymouth. The photography studio is a few minutes from the A38 and Plymouth city centre with free car parking outside.
I am a full member of the Master Photographers Association (MPA), the UK's only trade body exclusively for full time professional Wedding Portrait and Commercial Photographers. It is very easy to be tempted to use a part time or unqualified wedding photographer simply because they are cheaper, the only problem with cheap is that it is not always cheerful and you may not get the results you desire. I have won many awards including the Master Photographers South West Region pet photographer of the year.
I hate having my photograph taken and can understand what I put my clients through. I love to take natural photographs showing the real character of sitters at my portrait photography sessions, there is nothing more pleasing for me than to take photographs of children and families being relaxed and having fun.
